(Important: A what to do list if your vote machine screws up... - promoted by poligirl)

photofixAccording to Scoop, vote flipping from Democrat to Republican, or from Obama to McCain is already being reported from early voting states such as West Virginia, Texas, Missouri has been on ES&S iVotronics machines. Some vote flipping from Obama to McCain was reported in Tennessee (though the latter has later been reported to have been a hoax.) See Scoop.

Democracy Now has reported incidents both of machine malfunctioning and voter harassment (North Carolina).

Something tells me that our citizens are on much greater alert than ever before, though Brad Blog today was wondering where the legions of attorneys from Obama and the DNC are and asked: "Have we mentioned that the "thousands of attorneys" from Obama and the DNC are still completely AWOL?"

Come below for what to do if your voting machine malfunctions...

(Dedicated to those who thought JRE was correct about Ohio in 2004 - promoted by Predictor)

I'll admit it. I've been moping. Although I know this election is extremely important, I've been burnt before (we all have).

In 2004, I worked really hard for John Kerry, volunteering online every day during the general election. I did this even though I thought Kerry wasn't a great candidate, wasn't a strong enough progressive, wasn't the candidate I wanted. I made financial sacrifices to donate to his campaign, too.

I worked hard, then I waited with baited breath for the election returns to start coming in. I watched those election returns as they trickled in that night. Initially, it looked like Kerry was winning, but suddenly everything started to change. By the following morning, I knew we had lost, and likely to election theft.
